The Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) will hold its 3rd National Elective Congress (NEC) on Saturday, December 15 in Tamale.
The Congress will end the tenure of Professor Francis Dodoo, the current President of the Association and his executive.

The positions include the office of the President, two Vice Presidential slots reserved for a male and a female, an Organising Secretary, Deputy Organising Secretary and Treasure.
He said members desirous of any of the positions would be required to pick a form from the GAA secretariat on which he must indicate his address, telephone number, e-mail address and must be nominated and endorsed by a member in good standing.
Explaining the scheduled activities ahead of the congress, Mr Fuseini indicated that forms must be returned not later than November 14 at 5pm.
He said submission of proposals for congress agenda and submission of delegates list will be between November 14 and 16 while congress takes off December 15.
