Former Hearts of Oak manager Kenichi Yatsuhashi is the new coach of Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars, Joy Sports can confirm.
Kenichi has been appointed hours after Yusif Abubakar was fired for poor performance on Tuesday.
The Japanese trainer started work immediately after his appointment, supervising the team's training at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.
Aduana is Kenichi's third club in Ghana following brief stints with Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies. He parted ways with Allies just last week.
His first game is the CAF Confederation Cup clash against AS Vita Club. Aduana need three points to relaunch their bid of progressing from the group after failing to win their opening two games.
However, his task is to lift the club from the relegation zone. Aduana Stars have been poor in their title defence as they lie 14th with 14 points out of a possible 33 points, having played three games less due to their involvement in CAF Confederation Cup.
