The family of Professor John Evans Atta Mills say they are opened to any further investigation on the cause of death of the former Ghanaian leader.

The head of the family, Ato Harry Brew, an 85-year-old consultant in industrial etymology, says the probe will clarify the cause of death of the former president.
“If the opinion of the country is that it should be done then it has to be done,” Mr Brew told the Daily Guide newspaper.
“We won’t mind if the new government probes what actually caused the death of our brother, the president. We don’t mind if they do that so that everything will be clarified,” he said.
Prof. Mills passed away on July 24, 2012, five months before the 2012 presidential and parliamentary elections.

The cause of his death has divided the nation as some call for his autopsy to be made public while others reject the idea.
