The 27-year-old midfielder emerged as the hero of Slaven Bilic charges when he scored twice to inspire West Ham United overturn a 2-0 deficit and eventually beat Tottenham 2-3 in the League Cup.
Andre Ayew hasn’t been having the best of form for West Ham United, but he is still the leading top scorer of the club that has been plunged into the relegation zone of the English Premier League.
His two goals on Wednesday was the first time a West Ham United player registered two goals in a single game at Wembley in the 21 century.
However, the last time a Hammer had recorded a brace at Wembley before Ayew date back to 1975.
