Personnel from the various security establishments throughout the country, officials of the Electoral Commission (EC) and Journalists will today be casting their ballots under the special voting exercise.
This is to enable them provide their services to various polling stations on December 7 which is the day for the general elections.
The Electoral Commission (EC) has revealed that all materials and other logistics have been provided for the exercise and are optimistic the exercise which is a curtain raiser for the main election will come off without any incidents.
Director of Electoral Services at the EC, Samuel Tettey said materials and centers for this special voting session, have been distinctly marked from the materials; and polling stations for the general elections on December 7, to ensure transparency in the process
Over 127,394 special will be casting their votes at designated polling centers across the country.
The results of this special vote, the commission said, will not be declared until December 7.
