The late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama who was lynched at Denkyiraboase in the central region will be buried on Friday June 9, 2017 at the Osu military cemetery, Accra.
The burial service is currently ongoing at the forecourt of the Flagstaff House.
The military, police, fire service personnel, family, friends, the clergy and politicians are spotted filing past his body.
Lots of tributes are read from his family, government, the security forces and his church Light House chapel.
The final funeral rites will be held at Bole in the Northern region on June 13-15, 2017 and Tumu on June 16-18.
A vigil was held for him at Arakan Officers Mess in Accra on Thursday June 8, 2017.
The late soldier was lynched by an enraged youth who mistook him for an armed robber on May 29, 2017.
