8 persons suspected to be robbers have been arrested by the Police in Wa of the Upper West region.
They have been linked to numerous robbery cases on various highways in the area where they have been terrorising residents.
The robbers were arrested upon police intelligence when they were on their usual robbery activities in one of the districts on Wednesday dawn.
Ultimate News’ Musah Lansah reports that six of the robbers have been remanded at the Wa central prisons whilst two of them have been put in police custody.
The police have recorded four major robbery incidents in the area for the past months.
