His Royal Majesty, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has reiterated that Ghana is the most peaceful country in the sub-region to do business.
His Majesty said this when he met the Maltese President, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at her residence in Malta.
He said government has laid down good policies that are business friendly and that Malta should capitalise on it.
‘Ghana is looking for collaborative investment in the areas of technology and finance’ Otumfuo said.
He reminisced the introduction of lottery by the Maltese in Ghana and urged the president to go beyond lottery and use Ghana as investment hub in Africa.
On her part, Madam Coleiro Preca affirmed her commitment to the long standing collaboration with Ghana in the areas of health, technology and finance.
The President mentioned that Ghana is a great model of democracy, stability and development in the sub-Saharan Africa.
She further emphasized that Ghana should use her influence to deepen democracy in Africa.
The Asantehene is participating in the 5th Mediterranean Tourism Forum in Malta.
