He said though the nation went through a peaceful and incident free elections, there still seemed to be uneasy tension in the political atmosphere and urged that people should not allow politics and elections divide the nation.
The gesture followed a request placed before the MP’s desk by the District Sports Federation (DSF) to come to their aid. The MP said the donation formed part of his commitment towards the promotion of sports in schools in the district.
He, therefore, urged religious leaders, parents and guardians to inculcate the virtues of respect, obedience, hard work, honesty and sacrifice into the youth.
