Diana Hamilton unveils 2026 edition of Awake Experience

Celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Antwi Hamilton has officially launched the 2026 edition of her annual concert, Awake Experience with Diana Hamilton, at a star-studded event held at the ICGC Christ Temple East in Accra.

The media launch brought together industry players, media personalities, fellow gospel musicians and members of the media, highlighting the significance of the event in Ghana’s gospel music space.

Speaking at the launch, the ‘Aha Y?’ hitmaker announced that the theme for this year’s Awake Experience is “Dwell,” and it was inspired by Psalm 91:1. According to Diana Hamilton, the theme emerged from a deep time of prayer and a growing hunger and thirst for more of God

“Last year, God said ‘Move’; and this year, He said ‘Dwell.’ ‘Dwell’ came out of a hunger and a thirst for more of God. One thing have I desired, that one thing do I seek, that I may dwell in the presence of God and behold His beauty,” she explained.

“And His word says ‘He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.’ For me, this year is a love affair with my God. All I want is to be in His presence and watch Him do mind-blowing things,” she shared.

She further expressed her prayer that patrons would have a lasting encounter with God, one that would draw them deeper into His presence and keep them firmly rooted in their faith.

The music star emphasised that the 2026 Awake Experience will take place in Accra on February 15 at the ICGC Christ Temple East, and in Kumasi on February 22 at the Church of Pentecost, Bantama. She also unveiled an impressive line-up of ministers set to grace the event, including gospel music legends Elder Mireku; the Tagoe Sisters; Siisi Baidoo; Nana Yaw Ofori Atta; South Africa’s Utokozo Bambo; and Joojo Arhin, who are expected to lead patrons in worship and praise.

Beyond the concert, Diana Hamilton reaffirmed that the Diana Hamilton Foundation will continue to play an active role in outreach and community development initiatives as part of her ministry.

The event also saw Awake Purified Water, a product of Kasapreko Ghana, renew its brand ambassadorial deal with Diana Antwi Hamilton and continue as the headline sponsor of the Awake Experience with Diana Hamilton.

The renewed partnership follows five years of collaboration and coincides with Awake Purified Water’s 10th anniversary. Diana Hamilton expressed her gratitude to the brand for its continued support of her ministry and the Awake Experience over the years.
