President of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku beleives Black Queens have the qualities to qualify and compete at the Women's World Cup.
Ghana have been housed in Group D alongside Cameroon, Cape Verde and Mali ahead of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) scheduled to be hosted in Morocco.
The top two teams from each group will make it to the next round of the tournament, with the semifinalists making it to the 2027 Women's World Cup, which will be hosted in Brazil.
Speaking after the draw, Mr Okraku expressed belief in the quality of the playing body, stressing that with the right support, the team will make it to the World Cup.
"We will want to be at the World Cup, and I believe Black Queens have the qualities to be at the World Cup. We have the right technical team to support the girls, and the government is ready to support the girls.
"If it is about pressure, there is pressure everywhere, but what is important is how you react to situations.
"The head coach is very experienced to guide the girls, and I have no doubt whatsoever that we will compete and make it to the World Cup," he added.
The Black Queens will be based in Fes for the group stage of the tournament.
