Medeama SC new signing, Usman Safianu, has revealed his ambitions for the club ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
According to the top midfielder, the goal is to give everything during his time with the Yellow and Mauves to ensure they enjoy additional success.
"I am here to give everything for this badge. I know the expectations that come with wearing the Medeama jersey, and I embrace that challenge wholeheartedly. I want to help the club defend the league title, compete strongly in Africa and bring even more success to the supporters. I can't wait to get started and meet the amazing Medeama family,” Safianu told Medeama SC TV.
The midfielder completed his move to the Ghana Premier League champions last week, after signing a two-year contract.
“Medeama Sporting Club is thrilled to officially announce the signing of attacking midfielder Usman Safianu on a two-year contract following the expiration of his deal with Hohoe United,” the Tarkwa-based club announced in an official statement.
Safianu arrives in Tarkwa after captaining Hohoe United during the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
He is now with Medeama SC and will be playing a key part in next season’s campaign, where the team will be representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League.
