Hearts of Oak boss Aboubakar Ouattara says his team’s performance against Aduana FC was unimpressive as they lost narrowly on Sunday.
The Phobians have been far from their best in their last eight matches, losing six times and winning twice in the period with many fans agitated over their current situation.
In an attempt to rekindle their form, they fell again thanks to Kelvin Ofori’s solitary strike at the Accra Sports Stadium during the 30th round of matches in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
Speaking in a post match interview, Ouatarra expressed his dissatisfaction with his team’s performance, labeling it as a lack of desire to win on the part of his players.
“We played a very bad game. We didn’t have any motivation. I’m disappointed completely. These boys I can’t understand them. Today they are good, tomorrow they are bad. I don’t understand what happened. It was a very bad game. I have nothing else to say. Very bad game. We played 90 minutes without a shot on the goalkeeper. I’m not happy”, he said.

The Phobians find themselves in 12th place on the league standings with four matches to go and are in desperate need of a turnaround as they are only five points off the relegation zone.
The Phobians earned themselves good results under Ouatarra in his first few matches, yet the last 10 games in the league have been far from comfortable, and a drastic change is needed to help salvage their season moving forward.
