Accra, April 3, GNA - The skipper for Bechem United, Asante Agyemang, has said their main ambition is to win the Ghana Premier League (GPL), this season.
“We want to win the league or least be among the first four at the end of the GPL.” He stated.
According to Agyemang, though they suffered 1-0 home defeat to WAFA last Sunday, their hope for premier league glory was still on course as the season was still young.
“Our title ambition is still on course, we have many matches to play and as a footballer it is not over until it is over, so we are all working hard to reach our set targets. We are not giving up on our dream yet, we are going to win the GPL or at least be a part of the top four.
“We have promised our fans that, we are going to make history with this club, as we did last year by winning the FA Cup. We have a good squad and I know we are going to live up to the expectation at the end of the season.” He stated.
Meanwhile, the head coach of the side, Vicenzo Alberto Annesse said he is very optimistic that his side would get better, as the season progresses and that they are still on course as far as their season target is concerned.
“We are playing very well and matured now, we played like a team trying to defend and attack together and we know it’s going to get better as the season goes by. We lost today but we are still on course with our targets for this season.
