Accra, May 28, GNA - Reginald Asante Boateng, head coach of Liberty Professionals, has said he envisages a very tough task for his team, when they face Kumasi Asante Kotoko in match-day 14 fixture of the Xylophone Premier League at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park on Wednesday, 30 May, 2018.
The scientific soccer lads after their impressive 2-1 away victory on match day 12 against Bechem United, would lock horns with the resurgent Porcupine Warriors, who look forward to improve their points tally as the end of the first round draws near.
Liberty Professionals occupy the 12th position on the league log with 15 points, while their counterparts Kotoko also lie sixth with 20 points.
In an interview with GNA Sports, the 35-year old coach envisaged a feisty duel against Porcupine Warriors, but remained hopeful of surmounting the stern task of securing all three points.
“I must say that the game would be a tough one and playing Kotoko would be a difficult task considering the position we occupy right now,'' coach Asante said.
“There's pressure on Kotoko, so they are coming in for all three points and we also need this win to put us in a comfortable position before the end of the first round,” he added.
Meanwhile, Liberty Professionals progressed to the round of 32 in this year's MTN FA Cup after defeating Division League side, Vision FC 1-0 at the Amrahia Park in Accra.
