GFA applauds KGL Group and KGL Foundation for five years of support to juvenile football

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has expressed profound gratitude to the KGL Group and the KGL Foundation for their sustained financial and logistical support of Colts (juvenile) football over the past five years.

Through this partnership, which has included both funding and the provision of essential equipment such as jerseys, footballs, bibs, and cones, the Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship has grown into a premier platform for discovering young talent and nurturing future stars of Ghanaian football.

The GFA noted that KGL’s commitment has not only strengthened grassroots development but also provided opportunities for thousands of aspiring footballers across the country. Participants in the Catch Them Young Referees programme have also benefited greatly from the support.

Looking ahead, the Association welcomed the renewal of this collaboration for another five years, aimed at further investment in the next generation, the expansion of development initiatives, and the continued growth of the juvenile football ecosystem.

GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku extended appreciation on behalf of the football fraternity, praising KGL’s enduring dedication and shared vision for the future of the game in Ghana.
