Nations FC are leading the race to sign former Bibiani Goldstars forward Roland Frimpong ahead of the winter transfer window.
Frimpong was not registered by Goldstars before the commencement of the Ghana Premier League campaign following his participation in the University games, where UDS emerged as winners.
However, both parties have severed ties, with Frimpong seeking for a new challenge ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The forward joined Goldstars in 2023 and has a tow-year spell at club, helping the miners to annex the Premier League title two seasons ago.
As reported by Wontumi FC, Nations FC are the leading candidate to secure the signature of the former Real Tamale United star.
Frimpong has made 112 appearances in the Ghana Premier League between Real Tamale United and Bibiani Goldstars, scoring 15 goals and providing 6 assists across the period.
With his wealth of experience in the Ghanaian top-flight, the forward could be a valuable asset foe Nations FC, who are intends to bolster their attacker for the second window.
