Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has stressed that his team must improve if they want to win silverware at the end of the 2025/26 football season.
Having already crashed out of the MTN FA Cup, the only trophy the Phobians can win at the end of the season is the Ghana Premier League.
Last Sunday, Hearts of Oak travelled to Bibiani, where they faced off with Gold Stars. In what was a Week 24 fixture, Didi Dramani and his boys suffered a 2-1 defeat at full-time, leaving them six points behind league leaders Medeama SC.
Speaking ahead of his team’s next fixture against Basake Holy Stars, the coach disclosed that his side has taken lessons from the Gold Stars defeat and are aware they need to improve going forward.
“We took lessons from that game. We created a lot of chances in that game, and so we need to keep working hard. We want to go forward, and if we want to do that, then we need to improve,” Didi Dramani said.
The Week 25 Ghana Premier League fixture between Hearts of Oak and Basake Holy Stars will be played on Sunday, March 8, and is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
