Mohammed Kudus has emerged as a strong candidate to replace Mohamed Salah at Liverpool following confirmation that the Egyptian forward will leave the club at the end of the season.
With Salah set to depart after nearly a decade as Liverpool’s first-choice right winger, the club is expected to enter the transfer market in search of a suitable successor. Kudus, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur, is among the names being considered.
The Ghana international fits the profile Liverpool have often targeted in recent years, combining versatility, technical ability and attacking threat. A left-footed player who operates primarily on the right wing, Kudus is capable of taking on defenders and contributing goals, making him a natural option to fill the void left by Salah.
Liverpool had previously been linked with Kudus during his time at Ajax, and renewed interest could depend on Tottenham’s situation this season. Should Spurs struggle or face relegation concerns, the 25-year-old could become a more attainable target.
Kudus joined Tottenham from West Ham last summer and has since established himself as a key attacking option. His potential availability presents Liverpool with an opportunity to secure a player already proven in the Premier League as they prepare for life after Salah.
