I was star-struck when I met Cristiano Ronaldo – Eric Ayiah

Former Ghana U-17 captain, Eric Ayiah has said that he was left star-struck when he came face-to-face with Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo through his agent Jorge Mendez who also handles the affairs of the Juventus star.

Ayiah currently plies his trade for French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco after signing a five-year deal.

The former Charity Stars striker after joining Monaco is yet to break into the senior team as he hopes his output with the second team will convince the technical handlers to give him a shot.

Ayiah sharing how he felt after meeting Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time said, “I was left star-struck when I met him. It was a dream come true when I got the opportunity to meet Ronaldo, I never imagined meeting him in my life”

“It was a Champions League game between Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain that my agent Jorge Mendez told me he will be taking me to see Ronaldo”

“So after the game we went to see him and he advised me. I also got the opportunity to meet Marcelo” he told Wontumi FM. Read Full Story
