The Phobians were handed a 2-0 defeat by the Tarkwa based side in the ongoing G8 tournament.
Medeama SC managed to beat Accra Hearts of Oak 2-0 on match day 2 of the GHALCA 8 tournament at the the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Former Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Boateng and Agyenim Boateng were the scorers of both goals that made qualification into the semi-finals a reality.

Kwame Boateng got the opener after receiving a pass from Agyenim Boateng, after the latter had outwitted his marker to set up in the 14th minute.
Before, Agyenim Boateng sealed victory for Medeama in the 22nd minute following a blunder by Richard Akrofi, which he capitalized on to make it 2-0.
The rest of the game failed to produce any more goal as both sides engaged in an end to end action.
